Airtable Interfaces for beginners | updated for 2023
Mar 27, 2023Airtable interfaces may sound very intimidating, but once you start working with them you’ll quickly realize nothing could be farther from the truth. If you’re new to Airtable or have not used interfaces in a while, I want to break down how simple interfaces are to get the most out of Airtable.
In this video, I will explain how to use Airtable interfaces and show you how to implement them for a project tracking focus. You’ll see the data schema I use and why having a user field type can help limit what people see in your interface. I’ll go over the elements you can use and how to set them in an interface and show you how to modify certain elements like the Record Picker.
In this video we'll discuss:
- An example data schema with a user field type
- Selecting an interface type
- Adding elements to interfaces
- Adjusting filters of the record picker
- Adding Record Picker elements to the interface
- Modifying Record Picker elements in the interface
- Publishing and inviting people to the interface
- Testing the interface
