Build Automation Using Table Sync

Airtable Sync allows you to now connect information across multiple databases - finally! However, the sync does come with a limitation, specifically that syncing requires data to be updated in the 'source.' This means that, while you can see the data in synced table, the underlying data can't be edited without going to the source base. As you might imagine, this limitation makes automation pretty complicated!

This video breaks down the steps to achieving a successful automation while using Airtable's Sync feature. I walk through the steps I implement, including how to find the corresponding record in both the source and child tables - as well as how to leverage a pause in your automation to allow sync to catch up!
