Exploring the Gannt View in Airtable
Mar 22, 2021Project Management in Airtable just got a huge upgrade with the new Gantt View. Airtable recently created this new view type to allow users to visualize their data on a timeline, improving the way we track projects, tasks, and due dates.
The Gantt View maps your data across a timeline, using start dates and end dates to illustrate duration. You can move your records by dragging them along the timeline, giving you the chance to optimize your time management. Additionally, task dependencies can be added to your data, giving you the opportunity to plan tasks in order. The dependencies can also highlight a "critical path" through your timeline.
Having this new view allows us to share our project planning with others in a way that we previously couldn't. Take advantage of this new feature and start doing more of your project management in Airtable!
