Sync Softr Users with Airtable

Softr allows you to create a front-end webapp with no code. The data for your webapp can live in Airtable, but getting your webapp users set up can be a bit tricky. This video shows the steps to sync your users with Airtable and Softr so that your team can start using your webapp today!

User License Pricing

Users of your Softr webapp do not incur charges! Even better, these users are not required to be on your Airtable plan either! One of the amazing things about Softr is that your entire app is controlled with data, but you won't pay for adding new users!

Creating a new user

Adding a new user must start inside Softr. Softr will then add that user to your Airtable base. Note that this is not a 2-way sync, the data can't start in Airtable first!

Roles can grant different permissions

There are a number of ways you can create different types of users in your Softr webapps. One of the simplest options is to create a "Role" field in Airtable. When you change this role for a user, Softr will know! This allows you to create different permissions for your webapp, based on who is logged in!
