Take Comments in your Softr app with the new Comments Block

Softr released a highly anticipated new feature that allows you to add comments to your Softr app. Now your team can collaborate on another level with the ability to chat directly in your app. The comments are automatically timestamped and the logged in user who left the comment is recorded. Comments are assigned to specific records, so the set-up is slightly complicated.

As an advanced option, you can opt to include all comments back in Airtable as well. This can be really helpful if you want to trigger additional automations from new comments, or just keep a permanent record of all comments. In this tutorial, I walk through how you can employ this more advanced option and direclty sync all new comments with your Airtable base, linking both the commenter and the record to the newly minted comment.
